Ciao! Hola! Ni Hao! My name is Kayla Mallery and I was bit by the travel bug too many years ago to count. My travel story started with the countless flights my parents took me on when I was a baby, en route to visit family on the opposite coast of the U.S. Fast forward several years to middle school when my days of "solo" travel (i.e. without parents) began. It started with a trip to space camp in Huntsville, Alabama as part of a Girl Scouts Destinations trip and one the following summer to Oregon for a weeklong whitewater rafting trip. However, the travel bug really bit after I spent my junior year of high school studying abroad in Italy with AFS. Ever since then my desire to travel and see more of the world and other cultures only increases with each trip I take.
I am not a full-time traveler or blogger but I do have a passion for travel and adventures. As a full-time business management consultant who travels every week for work, I am fortunate enough to be able to travel for fun quite a bit. I (usually) spend a lot of time planning and researching my travels and I hope that others looking to travel can benefit from the legwork that I have put into my trips.
